Alan Hutton believes Ange Postecoglou is the most likely the next Premier League manager to be sacked.
Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur have underperformed this season and are in 15th place in the standings after losing to Leciester City on Sunday, the North London club's fourth consecutive league defeat.
The Spurs manager has come under criticism for side's tactical inflexibility, especially as injuries have piled up. Postecoglou's commitment to an attacking style may be his ultimate undoing, according to Hutton.
"The obvious one I fear for in terms of the axe is Ange Postecoglou," Hutton, who spent three-and-a-half seasons with Tottenham, told Casino Scout.
"I hate saying it because I don't really like talking about managers losing their jobs. I think he's a great guy. I've met him several times when he was up at Celtic, so I don't want to see that.
"But I just think the recent form that they're on, I know they've had a lot of injuries, but they're expected to be fighting for top four.
"I know they've not won a trophy in a long period of time and they’re sitting in 15th. They're 8 points off that relegation zone. It's something you just don't expect for them to be there."
