Alan Shearer believes England will top the Netherlands to advance to the Euro 2024 final.
The teams will face off in the semi-finals on Wednesday, with the Three Lions looking to make it to the final for the second straight edition of the tournament.
Former England and Newcastle striker Shearer believes they'll do it, but it'll be a close match.
"I'm not siding against England at all," Shearer told Betfair. "I think they'll find a way and they'll be able to step up again performance-wise.
"It could be a stressful, long evening again but I think England will just edge this one."
Furthermore, Shearer thinks England have as good a chance as any of the remaining sides to win the entire tournament. He points to Netherlands' "underwhelming" play in finishing third in their group and France's goal-scoring struggles as factors that could help England's case.
"England have also got through without playing attractive football and France have been so poor, they've just been really good defensively," Shearer said.
"They've only scored three goals, and two have been own goals. When you look at the four teams that are left, without doubt there will be a level of hope and confidence there."
