Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou says his side were full value for their 3-0 win at Manchester United on Sunday.

Spurs were relentless in pressuring their hosts from the outset, and a third-minute goal by Brennan Johnson put the Red Devils in an early hole they couldn't climb out of.

Things went from bad to worse for United in the 42nd minute when Bruno Fernandes was shown a red card for a studs-up challenge on James Maddison, forcing the home side to play shorthanded for the remainder of the match.

Up a man and a goal, Tottenham continued to push for goals and were rewarded in the 47th and 77th minutes, respectively, when Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke found the back of the net for the visitors.

It was such a dominant performance that Postecoglou admitted to being disappointed that his side only scored three times.

"I thought it was an outstanding performance," Postecoglou told BBC Match of the Day. "We started the game well, scored a great goal and probably should have had two or three [more early goals].

"The pressure then overwhelms them and they get the red card. After that I thought we controlled the game well. Just an outstanding effort from all the lads."

Sunday's victory comes after Spurs' win over Qarabag in the Champions League by an identical scoreline and continues a winning streak started in the Carabao Cup on Sept. 18.

"That is our fourth win in row and we have won them in different ways, but always stayed true to our principals and the way we want to play football," Postecoglou said.
