Arsenal have been overtaken in the Premier League title race after a run of poor results.
The Gunners are winless in three league matches, including Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Manchester City. It was that result that allowed City to take over top spot on the table, with the teams now tied on points but with the Sky Blues holding a superior goal difference.
Arsenal will have to quickly get over having their position usurped as they travel to face Aston Villa on Saturday. Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is looking for a bounce-back from his players as they look to avoid losing ground in the title race.
“There’s still a huge marathon to go for every single team,” Arteta said.
“We have a huge battle now on Saturday again to keep going but the team continues to perform and play this way. We need to improve the efficiency in the box, that’s for sure, we want to get more points."
