Aston Villa's red-hot form to start the season has cooled a bit of late, but they still find themselves in fourth place in the Premier League and just five points back of leaders Liverpool.
Villa have won just once over their last four league matches, and they'll need to get back to winning ways if they are to keep pace with a front-running pack that also includes Manchester City and Arsenal.
On Tuesday, Villa face visiting Newcastle United, who have lost four straight league matches and have fallen to 10th in the standings.
Regardless, Villa manager Unai Emery isn't taking the Magpies for granted.
“They were really unlucky in the Champions League, particularly in their last match," Emery said. "They have some key players injured.
“They have a very good coach, they’re a very good club and they have very good players. Their best performance could be [Tuesday] with the level they have.
“We are going to respect them and the individual players they have. We are going to be ready, focusing and concentrating on stopping them.”
