Hardware will be on the line when Chelsea and Liverpool meet at Wembley for the 2024 Carabao Cup final.
The teams meet just three weeks removed from a Premier League outing at Anfield where Liverpool were dominant in a 4-1 victory. Since then, the league-leading Reds have continued their red-hot form, albeit with a blip against title hopefuls Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have pulled off a similar string of results since last facing Liverpool, with the Blues unbeaten in three across all competitions.
With both teams playing good football, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino expects a tighter contest than the one three weeks ago.
"It's true that this [game] is different," Pochettino said. "Because it's never the same approach playing in the Premier League and in a final, particularly in a neutral place like Wembley.
"Of course it will be different. You always learn from the games you play, too many things.
"We arrive in this game in different circumstances. So it is difficult to compare and say that games that we played in the past will have an influence."
