Which Premier League side got their recruitment right?

The summer transfer window slammed shut at the end of last month, with Premier League teams now unable to add to their squads until January.

With each team's recruitment now confirmed, former England winger Chris Waddle has named the side he thinks has spent most wisely during the summer.

Shying away from his former clubs, Waddle has hailed the business of Arsenal, singling out two of the signings as the summer's best buys.

"I think Arsenal and the two or three they've signed," Waddle exclusively told DAZN, thanks to NewBettingSites.uk

"The guy from Bologna, the centre-half who's played in the Euros (Riccardo Calafiori), looks a good buy. If you get an injury, he can play left-back, he can play centre-half. So, there's a buy which looks ideal for them.

"Raheem Sterling coming in, too. I'll be honest over the years I've not been the biggest fan of Raheem, but he's experienced. He can get you a goal. And, you know, he's an international footballer and knows the Premier League well.

"He's going  to be a very good signing for Arsenal, again, making the squad stronger."
