Preparations have begun for this summer's FIFA Club World Cup, with the launch of the Club World Cup trophy tour in New York on Thursday night.
The newly revamped competition will be held in the United States this summer and will be shown live for free on DAZN, as the biggest clubs from Europe, Africa, South America, North America, Asia, and Oceania compete for the prize.
What is the Club Word Cup trophy tour?
To launch the competition, FIFA is sending the brand-new Club World Cup trophy on tour in the build-up to this summer's proceedings.
Kicking off in New York, the trophy will embark on a world tour, taking in the home cities of the competing clubs between January and June.
After leaving the Big Apple, its next stop will be Lisbon, home of Benfica, who are one of twelve European nations taking part in this summer's tournament.
