Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player in football history to score 900 career goals.
The Al-Nassr superstar netted the second goal in Portugal's 2-1 win over Croatia to reach the record total, finding the finishing touch from Rafael Leao's cross in the Nations League clash.
The 39-year-old wheeled off in celebration and was overcome with emotion in having achieved the record milestone.
It was Ronaldo's 131st goal for his country, adding to the 450 he scored for Real Madrid, 145 at Man United, 101 with Juventus, five at the start of his career with Sporting and the 68 he's notched since signing with the Saudi Arabian club in 2023.
Ronaldo's first-ever goal came for Sporting Lisbon in a league game against Moreirense on October 7, 2002, and he has now hit the 900 mark despite not playing as an out-and-out striker for the majority of his career.
The closest to Ronaldo's total is old rival Lionel Messi, who currently stands on 838 goals across his career for Barcelona, PSG, Inter Miami and Argentina.
