DAZN adds Serie A Femminile eBay to growing women's football portfolioDAZN

DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, today announced a series of deals with the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) that give DAZN’s customers in Italy, the US, UK, Germany, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Belgium, Japan, and Austria access to Serie A Femminile eBay, the Italian top division for women’s football.

DAZN is already the market-leader in Italy with an extensive portfolio of top-tier sports rights, most prominently Serie A and UEFA’s Women’s Champions League, and this agreement strengthens its domestic consumer offer as well as underlines DAZN’s commitment to invest in and promote women’s football.

Provided to fans via the DAZN app, which is available on smart TVs, mobiles, tablets, PCs and gaming devices, the Serie A Femminile eBay domestic rights are co-exclusive with Ria and complement DAZN’s delivery of the top seven Serie A TIM games per week.  This makes DAZN’s €29.99 flexible monthly contract even better value for Italian football fans.

The addition of Serie A Femminile eBay in the UK, US, Germany, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Belgium, Japan, and Austria, on a co-exclusive basis for the next season, bolsters DAZN’s extensive portfolio of women’s football rights, and builds upon DAZN’s growth and development strategy for women’s football, especially after the hugely successful FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.

Hannah Brown, DAZN’s co-CEO, Women’s Sport, said: “DAZN’s football offer in Italy is already exciting and engaging, but with the addition of Serie A Femminile eBay, featuring some of the best players in the women’s game, we are delivering even more value and premium content. It also further demonstrates DAZN’s commitment to raising the profile and accessibility of women’s football, and reinforces our strategic commitment to investing in, developing, and championing women’s football in our core markets as well as on a multi-territory basis. We already hold the domestic rights to top-flight women’s football in Germany, Spain, and Japan, as well as global rights to the UEFA Women’s Champions League and Spain’s Liga F as well as NWSL outside of the US.”

Crucially, DAZN are also promoting Serie A Femminile internationally with our co-exclusive rights in the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Belgium, Japan, and Austria. Brown adds, “We are excited to bring more of the best women’s football to audiences in key markets worldwide, spotlighting our position as the Home of Women’s Football”.
