Ditmar Hamman has praised Harry Kane following his scintillating start to life at Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
The England skipper scored his 24th league goal of the season in Bayern's 3-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach, ensuring he set a new record as the club’s highest scorer in a debut season.
With Munich still trailing Bayer Leverkusen by two points at the top of the Bundesliga, Hamman is even more impressed with Kane's performances, given that the club is not playing to its full potential.
“They’re not playing well but it just goes to show how good he is." the German told talkSPORT
“He probably touches the ball 20, 25 times and he probably scores with every third or fourth touch.
“He’s settled and he’s a breath of fresh air. To have the England captain in Germany is a huge thing and he’s so humble and so likeable. I think for the club and the league it’s been a blessing to have him.”
