The French captain suffered an injury during his team's opening group game.

One of the standout matches from the group stage at Euro 2024 is the clash between two European footballing giants, France and the Netherlands.

France are one of the favourites to be lifting the trophy in Berlin on July 14, and that is no small part due to the team having one of football's best players at their disposal, star striker and captain Kylian Mbappe.

There is however some concern surrounding Mbappe after he broke his nose in his team's 1-0 win over Austria in their opening group game.

As a result of the injury, Mbappe will have to wear a mask for the rest of the tournament, but will he be fit enough to start against the Netherlands tonight?

How long will it take for Kylian Mbappe's nose to heal?

According to numerous health websites, the swelling on a broken nose will ease for a number of days.

It will then take 2-3 weeks for the nose to fully heal, but Mbappe will be wearing a mask during the recovery period in order to allow him to continue playing for the rest of Euro 2024.
