The Egyptian has been linked with a move this summer.

Liverpool go into next season still with concerns over the future of their talisman Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian is set to be the subject of interest from Saudi Pro League clubs once again this summer, with the club undecided whether to cash in on their star asset or not.

One of the fears of selling the forward is who could fill the boots of the Anfield legend, but talking to BetVictor, former Red Stephen Warnock believes he's found the ideal replacement whilst watching this month's Euros.

“If you’re going to bring someone into the club to replace Salah, it would have to be someone who isn’t just a better player, but someone who is commercially viable enough to add to the Liverpool brand in a similar way Salah did,” he said.

“We just look at Salah as an individual on the pitch, but it’s the worldwide appeal that he brings to Liverpool and how he puts the club on the map in Africa which needs to be considered. We have no idea how much money that brings in.

“With that in mind, a player that I’m always off my seat watching is Jamal Musiala. I absolutely love watching him. I don’t know if Bayern Munich would be willing to sell him, but If Liverpool are talking about players who can add value to the team to replace Salah, he’s one of those players.”
