DAZN will be the official worldwide broadcaster of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 next summer when the reformatted competition kicks off in the USA.
The 32-team tournament will see the world's biggest and best clubs and players battle it out to be crowned club world champions, with teams from Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Oceania all competing.
The broadcast agreement will see all 63 matches, live-streamed, free to view on DAZN globally, in multiple languages. The tournament begins on Sunday, June 15, in Miami and concludes with the final in New Jersey on July 13.
The competition will see the biggest clubs go head-to-head including Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain, Flamengo, Palmeiras, River Plate and Fluminense
The deal signals a new long-term partnership between FIFA and DAZN, the only global digital streaming platform dedicated solely to sports fans, which is already the ultimate destination for top football competitions, including the Men's and Women's Champions League, Premier League, Serie A; LaLiga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and Saudi Pro League.
The partnership includes integrating FIFA+, FIFA’s library of iconic football moments and full-match replays, as well as live fixtures, into the DAZN platform.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said: “From the outset, FIFA wanted to have the best 32 clubs in the world competing in a merit-based, inclusive tournament to crown the only official ‘FIFA world club champion’.
"As part of that, it was imperative for FIFA to ensure that as many football fans across the world could follow the action, and this agreement with DAZN guarantees that in terms of broadcasting, the new FIFA Club World Cup will be the most widely accessible club football tournament ever.”
The broadcast partnership begins with DAZN broadcasting the Club World Cup draw live from Miami on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1pm ET; 6pm GMT; 7pm CT. Sign up here for a free DAZN account to watch the draw
