William Gallas believes Victor Osimhen would have a massive impact at Chelsea, comparing the Napoli striker to Blues legend Didier Drogba.

Osimhen has been the subject of transfer rumours since the end of last season, with Chelsea among several sides linked to the 25-year-old.

Should the London club win the race to land the Nigerian, former Chelsea defender Gallas feels that Osimhen can do for the side what Drogba did when he arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2004.

"In a similar way to Didier Drogba, Victor Osimhen can bring Chelsea to the next level,' Gallas told <a href="https://www.gentingcasino.com/insights/football/football-insights-william-gallas-1/" target="_blank">Genting Casino</a>.

"Looking at what he has done with Napoli and leading them to the title, he could do that with Chelsea. Chelsea need a striker and I don’t know what they are waiting for."
