Merseyside boss is backed as being the best man for the job.
Everton have endured a disappointing start to the Premier League season and are yet to record a single point in their first three games.

Last time out, they surrendered a 2-0 lead to Bournemouth, as the Cherries netted three times after the 87th minute to condemn Everton to a third straight defeat.

Despite their alarming early season form, former Toffees defender Richard Dunner has no doubts over Sean Dyche's position and believes he's still the man to keep the club in the league.

“I think Sean Dyche is definitely the right man for the Everton job,” he told BetVictor

“You look at Everton and there’s always going to be parts of the season where they don’t have good results and everyone thinks it’s a crisis, but then they’ll go a few games unbeaten and everything will be alright again.

“I think it’s been hard for Dyche because he’s not got a massive squad at his disposal and it’s difficult to get some consistency with selection if players are getting injured every week. There will definitely be periods in the season though where they do get it right and they begin to perform well, so I’m confident they will do enough to stay up.

“I think the biggest aim for Everton in the long term is that they’re successful and start to challenge for Europe, but the most important thing for them now is just staying up and continuing to be part of the Premier League.”
