There is huge speculation around the future of Mohamed Salah ahead of the new Premier League season.
Liverpool's Egyptian talisman was the subject of bids from the Saudi Pro League last summer, and there is a feeling clubs from the Middle East could reignite the interest in the forward.
Any big bid will mean the Anfield club has a big decision to make, and talking to BetVictor, former Red Stephen Warnock believes it could be the right time to cash in on one of the club's greatest-ever names.
He said: “It’s a difficult one. If he was 29 years old it would be a different story, but Salah is 32 now and you need to think about how many more years you’re going to get out of him. He’s been an unbelievable player for the club, but I agree when pundits say he’s lost his edge and half a yard of pace.
“I still think he’s a creative force and has an element of fear for defenders, but if Liverpool were to receive a figure of anywhere upwards of £100m, they could reinvest that and rebuild the team really effectively.
"That’s a very difficult thing to do and I wouldn’t want to be involved in the decision, but you do have to take his age into consideration. Would you cash in for a 32-year-old? Perhaps you would.”
