There remains speculation over the future of Mohamed Salah at the end of the season, with the Liverpool man still a major target for clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Despite the Reds rejecting an offer for their talisman last year, there is a growing belief that new offers will be made this summer, potentially leading to the club parting ways with the player and leaving a significant void in their squad.
If the Egyptian does leave Anfield, former defender Jose Enrique has identified three players whom Liverpool could replace the forward with - with a West Ham favourite as his first choice.
Enrique told Grosvenor Sport, “Mohammed Kudus is someone who I think could be a replacement for Salah.
“Even last summer I would have said that and now of course he is playing really well for West Ham. You could also throw in someone like Ebere Eze from Crystal Palace, but there aren’t really any obvious replacements out there.
“Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich is a possibility because he is in a bit of a situation with his contract there at the moment. He is the kind of name that they need to bring in and he could be an option.
“All I can say is good luck to whoever has the job of replacing Mohamed Salah at Liverpool! They have already had that situation on the other side with finding a replacement for Sadio Mane, but Salah’s are even bigger shoes to fill. He is one of the greatest Premier League players ever and one of Liverpool’s best ever players, so good luck to anyone replacing him.”
