Jermaine Pennant believes that Liverpool must be allowed to replay their match with Tottenham after a VAR error.
Luis Diaz had a legitimate goal chalked off after match officials thought that the review was to check if an onside call was correct, when instead the goal had been ruled out due to offside.
Instead of putting the decision right, the incorrect ruling was allowed to stand, which led to outrage from fans and a review of the VAR process.
Speaking to Lucky Block, former Liverpool and Arsenal winger Pennant thinks that Liverpool should be allowed to replay the match.
He said: "This decision could potentially cost Liverpool severely. If they end up losing out on the title by a single point, as has happened twice already, then this decision could cost the players a trophy and the club millions of pounds.
"I don't want people to lose jobs, but the clubs need to take action. It was a massive blunder.
"I'd have to agree with the calls for a replay as a Liverpool fan! Either that, or they chalk the goal on. It happens in F1 and other sports.
"There was no reason to chalk the goal off and there's no way to prove it wasn't a goal - so give the goal.
"Liverpool could've gone on to score more goals after that, you never know."
