Who will face Spain in Sunday's Euro 2024 final?

England take on Netherlands this evening with a spot in the final against Spain for whoever is the victor is in Dortmund.

Both teams have faced criticism for some of their performances in the tournament so far, but have found a way to win and are now just one victory from a place in the competition's showpiece.

Talking exclusively to DAZN, thanks to Free Bets, Dutch coach Rene Meulensteen has broken down the semi-final and what he expects to see from the tie.

The former Man United assistant boss believes both teams will look to improve, but it might take a moment of individual brilliance to settle the game.

He said: "If you look at it, in the quarter-finals, they never really hit the levels that you've expected. I think that neither team has really played at their best, and it's going to be a game where fortune favours the brave, who wants it more, who wants to take the initiative.

"They're not two teams that really press high or aggressively, so they let each other have the ball and stand off a little bit. Switzerland did that a little bit in the early parts of the game as well, and as soon as they started to show less respect for England and started to press them, they won the ball back quickly, kept it really, really well, and created and scored a goal.

"But that is also where the strengths of Holland lie. When you let them play, they can play, and they can hurt you. It's a little bit of two teams where we both know they're packed with qualities, they've got individual players that can change the game, and it will be one of those moments for either side. And if there is a goal, then obviously, the other team has to react and chase the game, which brings in a completely different dimension of the game altogether."

But everybody knows, England players know they need to step up and get better,  and Holland is exactly the same.
