Former Manchester City frontman Paul Dickov is in no doubt that his former club will retain their Premier League crown again this season.
Pep Guardiola's men will look to make it five titles in a row when they kick off their campaign against Chelsea on Sunday, fresh off winning the Community Shield last weekend.
Despite doubts over the manager's future and the challenge from Arsenal, Dickov exclusively told DAZN courtesy of William Hill that he's backing Man City to lift the trophy again.
"I’m backing Man City to win the Premier League again," he said.
"It’s simple for me as Man City have the strongest squad and plenty of strength in depth. The intelligence of the squad is outstanding and Haaland has had the summer off so will be raring to go from the start this weekend. From being with City pre-season, Pep still has the hunger and looks fresh to go again. Whether City lead or are chasing, they have the belief and know how to win the League.
"Yes, Arsenal are closing and will go very well again. But Arsenal lack the number nine who I think is their missing link.
"City’s new signing Savinho looks a good player and will fit in well. Oscar Bob will do very well this coming season and you have Grealish ready to show what he can do after last season where he didn’t feature as much as he would have liked."
