William Gallas was unimpressed by Tottenham’s efforts against Arsenal in the North London derby.
Arsenal were 3-2 winners, but had raced into a 3-0 lead in the first half, before Ange Postecoglou’s men fought back, and a David Raya error gave the scoreline a flattering sheen.
The win for Mikel Arteta keeps Arsenal in the title race alongside Manchester City, as they continue to press for their first Premier League title in decades.
Speaking to Gambling Zone on Monday, Gallas said: The best team won yesterday. Arsenal are the best team in London at the moment.
“The result makes the game seem closer than it was, but I thought Arsenal were the much better side and deserved the victory. It wasn’t tight.
“David Raya made a mistake and, up until that point, they completely controlled the game.”
