SALZBURG V CHELSEA – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – 17:45 – OCTOBER 25

The Champions League enters the business end of the Group Stage this week as the fifth round of fixtures gets underway.

Salzburg are the only unbeaten side in Group E, but their three 1-1 draws puts them a point behind the Blues in second place, and  defeat here could leave them needing a victory when they travel to Milan for their final group fixture.

Chelsea have been solid in Europe since parting ways with Thomas Tuchel, and two impressive victories over AC Milan means they could book their place in the Round of 16 with a game to spare if they win in Austria.

The hosts have taken a draw in to the interval in all four of their group games so far, so we fancy something similar here, with Chelsea coming out on top in the second half.

Traders’ Tip: Halftime/Fulltime – Draw/Chelsea @ 18/5. A £10 bet at these odds could return £46

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V SPORTING LISBON – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - 20:00 – OCTOBER 26

Spurs can secure their spot in the Knockout phase if they beat Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday.

A defeat for the visitors, paired with a Marseille victory in Frankfurt, would see Sporting eliminated from the competition, despite starting the group stages with back-to-back victories against Spurs and Frankfurt.

Despite their pretty indifferent away form, the hosts have looked strong when playing at home this season. Their two previous group matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have seen them pick up victories against both Frankfurt and Marseille.

Tottenham should have more than enough to make it three from three at home, and we think they’ll win by a relatively comfortable margin.

Traders’ Tip: Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 @ 6/5. A £10 bet at these odds could return £22

MANCHESTER UNITED V SHERIFF TIRASPOL – UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE – 20:00 – OCTOBER 27

Manchester United only need to avoid a defeat on Thursday to secure their way out of the Group stage.

An injury time goal from Scott McTominay rescued United from an embarrassing draw against Omonia Nicosia, but given their 34 shots during the game, they might have scored plenty on another night.

Sheriff lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture, and shipped five without reply in their two matches against group leaders Real Sociedad.

They will do well to get a result at Old Trafford, especially as Erik ten Hag will no doubt be demanding more from Rashford and company.

The hosts really shouldn’t have too much difficulty in getting past their opposition here, and we’re fully expecting them to be a lot more clinical in front of goal when the Moldovan’s visit.

Traders’ Tip: Manchester United Total – Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5. A £10 bet at these odds could return £18

BRIGHTON V CHELSEA– PREMIER LEAGUE – 15:00 – OCTOBER 29

After struggling to break down a stubborn Brentford team on their last Premier League outing away from Stamford Bridge, Graham Potter will be hoping that his Chelsea side can get the better of a team he helped to create during his three-year spell.

The last time the former Seagulls boss took charge of a match at the Amex Stadium his Brighton side ran out 5-2 winners against Leicester, but since his departure they've looked far from impressive at home, failing to find the net against both Spurs and Nottingham Forest.

Brighton haven’t beaten Chelsea in a competitive game since 1933, and that drought should continue when they come face to face with a manager that knows them better than most.

Traders’ Tip: Chelsea to Win @ 11/8. A £10 bet at these odds could return £23.75

ARSENAL V NOTTINGHAM FOREST–PREMIER LEAGUE – 14:00 – OCTOBER 30

Sunday sees two teams at opposite ends of the table face off at the Emirates as high-flying Arsenal face a Forest side who are struggling to adapt to life in the Premier League.

May 8th 1999 was the last time the visitors registered an away victory in the top-flight, and it would take something special for that to change when they travel to London for the first time this season.

Arsenal have won their last ten competitive matches at the Emirates, including victories over Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United.

They have scored at least twice in each of their matches during this run, and they should have more than enough to comfortably see off their opponents here as they continue their pursuit of a first Premier League title since 2004.

Traders’ Tip: Arsenal -1.5 @ 4/7. A £10 bet at these odds could return £15.71
