The teams meet today.

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes that Manchester City will have an easy time of it in their Premier League clash with Everton this weekend.

Sean Dyche’s men travel to the Etihad for Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off and they are the clear underdogs as they battle to stay up this year following a points deduction.

Pep Guardiola will be hoping for three points as they look to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title in Jurgen Klopp’s swansong season, and speaking to BetVictor, Redknapp backed the home side to succeed.

He said: “The weekend starts at the Etihad with a good one. I thought Manchester City were superb at times against Brentford and I can just see them going on a long unbeaten run now. Pep Guardiola has got virtually a full squad to pick from and Erling Haaland hasn’t even got back to his best yet. When that happens, look out!

“That was a typical Goodison Park performance from Everton last week. They battled, competed and really made life difficult for Spurs. I think they were worth that point but they need to start getting more on the road.

“I can only see the one winner here. Haaland is due a goal here, 3 – 0.”

Asked for one to watch, he said: “It’s got to be Phil Foden hasn’t it? A hat-trick on Monday, he’ll be looking to add to it here.”
