There's much more than just glory and prestige at stake for the 24 teams taking part in Euro 2024.

There's also a lot of cash.

With this summer's tournament set to take place in Germany, revenues for the quadrennial event are expected to reach €2.5 billion. That makes for a big pie to redistribute to the participating nations, with UEFA designating €331 million for prize money at this year's competition.

But how much will go to the winners? DAZN breaks it down.

How much money does the winner of Euro 2024 receive?

UEFA announced in December that the maximum a team can win at Euro 2024 is €28.25m.

To earn that amount, the victorious team would have to win all three of their group matches in addition to winning their way through the knockouts.

How much money does each team receive at Euro 2024?

Every participating nation will take home a share of the revenues.

Here's the breakdown from UEFA:

  • Participating fee: €9.25m
  • Match bonus: €1.0m for a win and €500,000 for a draw
  • Qualification to the round of 16: €1.5m
  • Qualification to the quarter-finals: €2.5m
  • Qualification to the semi-finals: €4m
  • The runners-up will receive an additional payment of €5m
  • The 2024 European champions will receive an extra payment of €8m
