When does the 2024-25 National League take place?
The 2024-25 National League began on Saturday, August 10 and will conclude its regular season on Monday, May 5.
It will then be followed by the play-offs across the rest of May 2025.

How many teams compete in the 2024-25 National League?
Twenty-four teams compete in the 2024-25 National League, with each team playing against the others home and away across a 46-game season.
Teams this season include Sutton United and Forest Green Rovers, who were relegated from EFL League Two last season.
Who has won the National League recently?
Chesterfield won the National League last season, which saw them promoted back to the EFL and into League Two for the 2024-25 season. Bromley won the play-offs to also go up.
One of the most famous title winners in recent times is Wrexham. The Welsh club, owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, won the 22/23 title, being chased all the way by Notts County in an epic promotion race, with both recording record points totals. County did eventually also go up via the play-offs.
Stockport County, Sutton United, Barrow and Leyton Orient have also won the National League in the last five years.
Wrexham, Stockport and Orient are all now in League One, quickly winning promotion from League Two, highlighting what can be achieved by former National League clubs.
