After missing the first five months of the season due to gambling violations, Ivan Toney has wasted no time getting back to business.
The 27-year-old has scored three goals in his first four games back, the latest of which in a 2-0 win away at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
If he continues that form, Toney could be on a plane to Germany this summer as part of England's European Championship squad.
And while immediate future with the national team is unclear, as too is his future with Brentford after recent comments by the striker and manager Thomas Frank.
Frank said they may be faced with a situation where they have to sell Toney, who has one year left on his contract with the Bees.
"I see that as he doesn't want me," Toney told BBC Sport.
"The manager has said what he's said but I can't make clubs come and get me.
"I've just got to keep doing what I do and that's score goals. What will be will be."
Clarifying what he had previously said, Bees boss Frank said: "I would love him to stay forever, the reality is he has one year left on his contract.
"There are a couple scenarios, he leaves in the summer, in the winter or until the end [of his contract].
"If he's leaving in the summer, winter or the summer after, I think it would be fantastic to see him playing for a top club."
