Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has told Jurgen Klopp what to do for the final months of his time in charge at Anfield.
The German announced on Friday that he was planning to leave the club at the end of the season because he was ‘running out of energy’ as the club prepares for a title race with the second half of the season still to play.
Liverpool top the table and Klopp has threatened to build his second great Liverpool side after overhauling the midfield in the previous summer transfer window, and another title would only add to his enduring legacy at the club that saw him win every domestic trophy as well as the Champions League.
Speaking on X, formerly known as Twitter, Carragher said that the news was a ‘body blow’ but urged Klopp to ‘go out with a bang’ now the announcement had been made.
"This news was always going to be a body blow to the club whenever it came," he wrote.
"I just thought it would be another few years away. What a manager, what a man, let's go out with a bang Jurgen!"
