Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has revealed who he rates as the top five players in the Premier League, with one name sure to raise a few eyebrows.
Talking to JD Football the Italian was asked to name the five best in England's top flight and the co-host guessed his answer by claiming, "I think you're going to say Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland."
Jorginho agreed on the first three picks, and then toyed with his answers for the final two spots. When offered the name Rodri, he replied, "It could be, but I will go for [Bukayo] Saka." Leaving just one more spot in the Gunners' man's top five.
The 32-year-old then mulled over the last name and was offered a number of options by the host, including Martin Odegaard, William Saliba and Virgil van Dijk, before plumping for former teammate Reece James.
The decision to pick the Chelsea full-back surprised the host, who asked Jorginho if he thought James was better than Trent Alexander-Arnold in that position.
With the Euro 2020 winner declaring; "I think I put Reece James fifth. Him and Trent are a bit different, but for my team I pick Reece, I think he is more complete."
