Liverpool have blooded a number of teenagers this season to great success, and chief among then has been Bobby Clark.
The midfielder has made eleven appearances for the Reds this season, scoring his first goal in their 6-1 win over Sparta Prague, where he come the youngest player to score for the club in European competitions.
However, Clark's father, former Premier League midfielder Lee, has revealed to William Hill and Footy Accumulators’ podcast, No Tippy Tappy Football that his dream is to see his son play for Newcastle.
"My ultimate wish would absolutely be to see Bobby playing for Newcastle," he said.
"I don’t know how many father and son combinations have both appeared for the club. I was lucky enough to play for them 265 times and, who knows, he might have to do an Alan Shearer and come back! That would be my dream."
