Arsenal's rejuvenation continues after a 5-2 victory at West Ham United on Saturday.
The Gunners claimed the lead in the 10th minute and never looked back as five different goal scorers paced the side to the Premier League win, their third straight across all competitions. Arsenal are now undefeated in four matches, and have won their last three games by three goal, four goals and three goals, respectively.
Saturday's victory propels the North Londoners back into second place in the league standings, at least for the time being as several teams will play matches on Sunday.
Regardless, it's been a stark turnaround for the Gunners, who struggled through most of October and the beginning of November until the international break signaled a fresh start for the title hopefuls.
On Saturday, Bukayo Saka was once again a key component of Arsenal's attack as he drew a penalty that was scored by captain Martin Odegaard and also converted a spot-kick of his own, in addition to providing assists on each of the game's first two goals.
While the 23-year-old was happy with his own output, Saka was more pleased with his side's play on Saturday and in recent matches, declaring the club "back" to its previous ways.
"I am taking a lot of pleasure from creating and scoring but the greatest pleasure is to win," Saka told Sky Sports. "Let's keep this form going. Definitely the last three games we have been back."
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta lauded his side for their ruthlessness in front of goal and their ability to withstand a mini-comeback waged by the hosts towards the end of the first half.
"We made it crazy, we played so well at the start of the game," Arteta told BBC Match of the Day. "We scored three early goals and then they score one immediately after kick-off and then another one - then it was game on.
"We have to manage the game - we did that really well. The last two games were tricky and to score goals is a big one."
