For Manchester City, there's no place like home.
A week after battling to a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, the Sky Blues were dominant in a 4-0 win on Wednesday to claim the 5-1 aggregate victory and advance to the continental final.
It took a second-half Kevin De Bruyne stunner to pull City on level terms last week in Madrid, but the English side had no problems scoring early and often against the famed La Liga club on Wednesday. Bernardo Silva struck twice in the first half to get the proceedings underway, and City added another two in the second half as they played their Spanish opponents off the pitch at a jubilant Etihad Stadium.
City will meet Inter Milan in the Champions League final on June 10, but they could feasibly win two more trophies before then as they are also in the FA Cup final and are on the verge of winning the Premier League title.
