Pep Guardiola could be entering his final season as Manchester City boss with the upcoming campaign speculated to be his last.
No official decision has been made on Guardiola’s future, but there has been plenty of speculation of when his time at the Etihad Stadium could come to an end.
Since arriving in England in 2016, Guardiola has turned City into a major force with six Premier League titles and a European Cup.
Joleon Lescott, who won two Premier League medals with City, has spoken about what comes next for City if Guardiola does move on.
“I don’t know how to replace him being honest,” said Lescott when speaking to DAZN courtesy of BetMGM.
“Whenever he leaves it’s going to be difficult to maintain the level that he’s set in terms of the consistency.
“Available managers now, if it was today, you’d probably have to say Tuchel. But in 12 months' time, I don't anticipate Thomas Tuchel being available and I’m sure there’ll be other candidates in a stronger position that him.”
