The teams meet on Sunday.

The biggest Premier League game of the weekend comes last as Arsenal visit Manchester City on Sunday.

The teams are first and third in the standings, respectively, but just a single point separates them. It's a similar situation to last year's title race, which saw Arsenal leading for much of the campaign until City rode a spectacular run of form over the final stretch of the season — including a late-season victory over the North Londoners — to another league crown.

But while the similarities are there, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists this year is different and that his team are ready to give a better account of themselves than in that 4-1 loss in April 2023.

“It is different," Arteta said. "Momentum is different, we had certain results and some big injuries in that moment but those experiences are there to learn from.

"Sometimes we have to clap the opponent when they are better than you and that was the case on the day, learn from it and challenge yourself to be better."
