Mark Lawrenson has hailed one of Chelsea's midfield stars and believes he is now living up to the price that the club paid for him.
Chelsea continued their bright start to the season on Tuesday night with a 5-0 League Cup win over Barrow, but it's one of their first-choice stars who Lawrenson has singled out for praise.
Moises Caicedo moved to Stamford Bridge last summer in a deal worth over £100 million but struggled for form and fitness during his first campaign with the club.
However, the Ecuadorian has played in all five of the Blues' Premier League games this season and the former Liverpool defender thinks he's becoming a growing influence on Enzo Maresca's side.

"I’ve been impressed with Chelsea, they have started very well," Lawrenson told Betideas.
"Moises Caicedo has been a big influence so far in that midfield, he's finally beginning to look like the player that they spent all that money on last summer. We always knew he was a top player at Brighton, it was just about getting that out of him.
“People were a little harsh on him last season and I think some pundits were quick to jump on bandwagons and lazy media narratives, for me there was never any question over his ability.
"It can take a long time for a player to settle in, especially a young player like Caicedo, and I think that’s what we have seen here. That’s just how it is sometimes and you can’t really explain it.”
