Mauricio Pochettino lists the attributes Chelsea lacked in Sheffield United draw

The Blues allowed a late equaliser.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino conceded that his side's 2-2 draw at Sheffield United on Sunday was "fair," but that doesn't mean he likes how the match turned out.

The Blues seemed destined to pick up the full three points at Bramall Lane after Noni Madueke scored in the 66th minute to put Chelsea up by a goal, but the Londoners allowed an equaliser by Oliver McBurnie deep into stoppage time that ultimately decided the match.

It was a tough ending for a Chelsea side that have been anything but consistent this season, and it came against the last place team in the league.

Regardless, Pochettino says his team must accept their fate and look forward to the next game.

"All the teams in the Premier League are good," Pochettino told Sky Sports. "Today we conceded in the last few minutes. We feel really bad in the way we conceded but we need to keep moving."

For Pochettino, Sunday's match was a microcosm of his side's season as a whole, especially on the defensive end.

"We need to be more clinical," he said. "The team is scoring a lot of goals but we are conceding too much. We need to find this balance.

"At the moment we can't get the right balance of scoring goals and conceding less. We are struggling in this thing and it is something we need to improve if we want to be in a different position in the table."
