The transfer window is not yet closed but Michael Owen has already chosen the "biggest signing" among Premier League clubs this summer — and it's not a player.
Owen has labelled Liverpool manager Arne Slot as the biggest acquisition in England's top tier.
Slot followed Anfield icon Jurgen Klopp as Reds boss, which in itself is enough to convince Owen that the 45-year-old should claim the top spot on any list of the biggest signings.
"Arne Slot showed some great signs in pre-season, because that game against Manchester United was a big game for him," Owen told OLBG.
"All the eyes were on him, talk about pressure. When you talk about who's the biggest signing in the Premier League this summer, it’s Arne Slot.
"That is the biggest role to fill in the Premier League this summer. Jurgen Klopp leaving after all that time, that is the biggest signing and he's got more pressure on him than anybody else in the Premier League."
