Who is the Egyptian's GOAT?

Mohamed Salah has once again been one of the stars of the Premier League season and is among the contenders for individual honours at the end of the campaign.

The Egyptian has scored 22 goals so far and continues to be one of Liverpool's key men as they battle at the top of the Premier League and look to triumph in the Europa League.

Salah is already an idol to millions of football fans, but in an interview with ESPN, the forward has revealed which all-time great he idolised growing up.

Of the many legendary names from the game the 31-year-old could have mentioned, when it comes to his goto GOAT, it's about the Brazilian Ronaldo.

Salah said: "His way of playing was insane. I admire him a lot, he was my idol growing up. I met him once and I was too shy to speak to him."

The former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid is considered to be one of the greatest forwards of all time, winning the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 and twice being awarded the Ballon d'Or.
