Paris Saint-Germain aim to keep hold of top spot in Group F of the Champions League as they travel to face Newcastle United on Wednesday.
PSG were the only victorious team in the group on the first matchday, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0. That gives them the early lead in the race to finish top two, but another stern test awaits as Newcastle, back in the Champions League after a 20-year absence, look to take over the Parisians' perch.
To that end, the Magpies head into Wednesday's match on a five-game unbeaten streak, the three most recent of those contests ending as wins. Newcastle are scoring in bunches of late as well, with 11 goals across their last three matches.
Meanwhile, PSG find themselves in unfamiliar territory domestically as they sit in fifth place in Ligue 1, with a scoreless draw against lowly Clermont Foot their most recent result.
If the French giants are going to hold on to their early lead in Group F, they'll need to turn around their recent form in a hurry.
