With the international break now over for England, attention turns back to the Premier League as we head into Matchday 12 this weekend.

Sitting at the top of the Premier League are Liverpool after an impressive start to the season from new manager Arne Slot. The Dutchman has lost just one game since taking over from Jurgen Klopp in the summer and him and his squad have already made a big impression on Reds fans - including UFC star Paddy Pimblett.

The Liverpudlian spoke exclusively to DAZN, thanks to AceOdds, and shared his excitement over what he's seen this season and the players that he feels have stepped up for Slot's side.

"Obviously, [Virgil] van Dijk, [Mohamed] Salah, and [Luis] Diaz. He’s (Diaz) stepped up in a big way this season," he said.

"I was one of his critics. I’d criticise him and say he needs to get more goals and assists. But this season he’s proper shut me up. All he’s been doing is getting goals and assists.

"He's f***ing brilliant and obviously, Curtis Jones is getting better in every game. Looks completely reinvigorated in the Slot team. [Darwin] Nunez looks like a different player, so does [Cody] Gakpo.

"So does [Konstantinos] Tsimikas. I was giving him down the banks last season. This season, he's been brilliant. He's in the form of his life, and it's mad the way [Caoimhin] Kelleher is in goal and no one's even noticing that the best goalkeeper in the world is not fit. That just shows how good he is."  Their performances have seen Liverpool race into a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League and Pimblett believes that nothing is beyond this Reds team this season.

Adding: "I think we can win it all. We're in the quarters of the Carabao Cup now. I think we're favourites for that because City have gone out.

"I don't know about the FA Cup, let's see if he cares about it. But the Champions League and the Premier League, we could win both.

"Looks like Pep is starting to get a bit of burnout like Klopp did."
