Aston Villa have made an encouraging start to the season, continuing the form that saw them qualify for the Champions League last year.
Their foray into the competition is the first time they've made the Champions League under its current guise, and they began their campaign with a 3-0 win over Young Boys last week.
However, defender Pau Torres believes their place at Europe's grandest table wouldn't have been possible without a certain member of the Villa team.
Talking to Betano, the Spanish centre-back singled out Ollie Watkins as being a key reason why they finished in the top four.
"Ollie Watkins was the main part in us getting Champions League football", he said.
"He had an amazing season; he’s a brilliant striker and we are very confident with him in the team. Everybody believes in him, he deserves everything that comes to him as he works so hard.
"The Champions League is the best competition in the world, as a team you must enjoy this experience with the supporters. They have been waiting a long time for this and we need to go as far as we can for them."
