Sunday's 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Manchester City may have been the last meeting for managers Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
As the Reds find themselves embroiled in a tight Premier League title race with Arsenal and Guardiola's Man City, Klopp has announced that he's stepping away from his role as Liverpool boss at the end of this campaign.
With the Reds and Sky Blues having had some memorable battles in recent years, Guardiola was asked following Sunday's match about Klopp's tenure at Anfield.
Perhaps surprisingly, the Man City manager predicted a return to the sidelines for Klopp in the future.
"He will be back! He loves the job too much," Guardiola told BBC Match of the Day. "What can I say?"
While Guardiola's prediction may not have been completely serious, he did heap praise on his Liverpool counterpart and hopes to see Klopp stay in the game in some capacity.
"He made us a better team, he made me a better manager," Guardiola said. "I wish he will be back soon, because football needs personalities like him."
