There are still plenty of teams with hopes of European qualification.

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe says the battle for European qualification "will go right to the wire".

The Magpies are currently seventh in the Premier League table, with a top-six finish guaranteeing European football next season.

Newcaslte sit one point behind sixth-place Manchester United, who are a further six points behind Tottenham in fifth.

But Howe's side will still be looking over their shoulders, as Chelsea's win over Spurs on Thursday night moves them to within two points of Newcastle.

Newcastle travel to Burnley on Saturday, which on paper is the easiest of their remaining fixtures, with games against Manchester United and Spurs still to come.

Speaking to the media ahead of the trip to Turf Moor, Howe said: "We know we're going to have to win games to qualify for Europe and we know it's going to be tight.

"We're up against top quality teams and Chelsea are in a good vein of form too so I think it will go right to the wire."

"In the last few games we have shown flashes of being back to our very best.

"I want to see that for 90 minutes if we can."
