The Premier League takes its penultimate international break of the year after this weekend's matches, and after the first six matches of the season, it looks like it could be another tight tussle for the title this campaign.

Liverpool currently leads the way, but champions Manchester City and Arsenal have yet to suffer defeat this season, and it's those three teams that Premier League winner Lee Sharpe believes the title race will be between.

Sharpe exclusively told DAZN, thanks to NewBettingOffers.co.uk, that he expects Liverpool and Arsenal to exploit the absence of Rodri and challenge the reigning champions.

"I think Rodri is a massive miss," Sharpe said.

"I think he would be for any team. I think he's an unbelievable player, both going forward and defensively, and organisation for Man City. So they will miss him.

"But I also think Liverpool and Arsenal are going to be a threat.  I think it's going to be probably a three-horse race between those three during the season. And it just depends on how European football and how injuries affect each team.

"I think we see a lot more calculated approach from Liverpool, from Slot.  And I think Arteta has learnt over the last couple of seasons, coming runners-up to City, that he has to manage games a little bit more precisely and can't expect to have the majority of the possession in every game. I think he's done that well.

"I think he did well against Man City when they got down to 10 men.  I think he also showed a bit of a weakness in Man City when you do go defending numbers in the box. I don't think City really go on an overlap and overload the wide areas, which makes defending against them a little bit easier.  So I think teams have learnt about that.

"But I do think it's those three."
