With a new era at Liverpool about to begin, speculation has mounted over what will happen with some of the club's biggest stars.
Both Alisson and Mohamed Salah have been linked with possible moves away from the club, while the future of several other big names remain unclear.
However, speaking to BetVictor, one name former Red Stephen Warnock believes should stay at the club is Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutchman is in the last 12 months of his contract, and Warnock thinks the club have a big decision to make on whether to offer him a new deal.
"It depends on what offers come in for Virgil van Dijk," he said.
If you do choose to sell him though, you'd have to bring another player in that is able to fill that position so the money would have to be immediately reinvested.
“I don't think Liverpool have enough depth in that position to sell him and go into the new season with just Jarell Quansah and Ibrahima Konate.
“Konate is too injury prone and Quansah is young and plays better alongside Van Dijk.
“I actually thought Van Dijk played well last season – his performances were good. Especially because often Liverpool didn't have a defensive midfielder in front of him. Van Dijk was left vulnerable quite a lot and there was a lot asked of him.
“He's overcome a massive injury, but he's also getting older, and at some point you have to make a decision on certain players. Only Arne Slot will know what is best for the player and the club.”
