One of the biggest stories of the summer transfer window is the immediate future of Neymar, who has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain.
Incoming PSG manager Luis Enrique did little to quell the talk of the 31-year-old Brazilian's impending departure from the French capital, stressing at his introductory press conference this week that "there will be a new era" at the club, which also parted ways with Lionel Messi this summer.
“I haven’t spoken with Neymar yet,” Enrique said.
“If he should be part of my project? This kind of information I would like to give it to you, but it is part of an internal information."
With no shortage of suitors for Neymar's services, DAZN takes a look at some of the more interesting options.
Al-Hilal
The Saudi club was heavily linked to Messi, who ultimately chose to take his talents to South Beach and nearby Inter Miami CF of Major League Soccer.
Al-Hilal were reportedly undeterred by the Argentine superstar's decision and immediately set their sets on his former Barcelona and PSG teammate Neymar, who would command similar wages to Cristiano Ronaldo at rival club Al-Nassr.
Barcelona
The venerable club will always be linked with a return by their past superstars, and outside of Messi there's arguably no player who had a bigger impact at Camp Nou in the 2010s than Neymar did.
However, Barcelona's financial situation is still a tricky one, and the club may not have the available levers to pull to bring back the Brazilian given his wage demands (and any potential transfer fee PSG would want).
New York City FC
With Messi's move to Miami, it's suddenly in vogue to link every 30-something superstar to an MLS move, and this week a report stated that New York City FC had offered a deal to Neymar.
As part of City Football Group, NYCFC have the financial might and a history of such acquisitions, bringing over David Villa, Andrea Pirlo and Frank Lampard for their inaugural seasons on the North American circuit.
However, since those players departed, the club have toned down their pursuit of aging stars, preferring to build through their academy and with younger, lesser known South Americans on the roster.
With that being said, Messi's arrival may give Neymar, who often vacations in the United States, reason to cast a longer look at MLS as his next destination.
