Tony Bellew believes that Jarrad Branthwaite is set to leave Everton in the summer.
The 21-year-old central defender has been impressive alongside the experienced James Tarkowski at the back under Sean Dyche, and their performances together are one of the reasons they remain in with a chance of beating the drop in the Premier League this season despite their 10-point penalty.
With finances tight at Goodison Park, it would be no surprise if a big-money offer convinced them to sell the player, with Tottenham and Manchester United two clubs linked with an interest in the player.
Speaking to talkSPORT, former cruiserweight champion Bellow said: “Jarrad is an unbelievable player. A really top talent and we have known about him for a while.
“It’s a shame the situation we’re in and where we are because we obviously know what’s going to happen. I’m just so happy he was still after the transfer window.”
