Teddy Sheringham wants Ivan Toney at Tottenham Hotspur.
Brentford striker Toney has been linked with several Premier League sides since the end of the season, and his performances for England at Euro 2024 have only amplified the transfer rumours.
Former Tottenham striker Sheringham believes Toney should be a top target for manager Ange Postecoglou, who Sheringham believes could help the 28-year-old reach new heights.
"I'd push for a move to Tottenham if I was Ivan Toney," Sheringham told OLBG.
"I think they're crying out for a centre forward to lead the line like he can.
"I think it would be a perfect fit and I think he's a great player as well. I'd like to see him there under Ange Postecoglou."
Sheringham, who called Toney his "dream signing" for Spurs, added: "I would love to see it happen. I think it's perfect for him and perfect for Tottenham."
