Chelsea will be in the fight for the top four if they can find some consistency, says Wes Brown.

The Blues have had an unremarkable start to the Premier League season under new manager Enzo Maresca, with a win, loss and draw to their name through three matches. The West London side finished sixth last season under Mauricio Pochettino and expect to continue their ascent with former Leicester City boss Maresca now in charge, and Brown believes Chelsea have the squad to get back into the Champions League places.

Speaking to BoyleSports, who offer the latest Premier League odds, the five-time Premier League champion and 1998-99 treble winner explained that the pieces are in place for Chelsea to climb back into the upper echelon of Englannd's top flight.

"Everyone is looking from the outside in at Chelsea, but on their day they can probably beat anyone," Brown said.

"For Chelsea It's just about whether they have that consistency and with all the players they have, keeping everyone happy. But ultimately they've got a very good young squad with a lot of ability there, if it clicks, then they could be in the conversation."
