Manchester United concentrated their summer spending on the defence ahead of this season, giving them a plethora of choices in their backline.
Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Leny Yoro were all recruited to beef up the Red Devils' defence and give them plenty of options in the event they suffered the same injury issues as last season.
Speaking exclusively to DAZN, thanks to Instant Casino, former United defender Wes Brown shared who he would pick as the club's first-choice back four if everyone was available.
"If everyone's fit, I would go Luke Shaw. I thought it would take him a few games to get back," Brown said.
"I'd go De Ligt, I'd go Martinez, and Dalot, that would be my back four, and then I'd have Harry Maguire, obviously, as back up."
Going on to talk about Maguire, Brown praised the England man for coming through a bad spell last season and believes he still has a role to play under Erik ten Hag.
Adding: "If Harry had wanted to leave, he could have done it. He was in the same position last season and ended up playing probably over 30 or 40 games.
"The main thing about that for us, was that little bad spell he had. He got a lot of stick for it, but the way he handled it was brilliant, and he eased himself back into it. When he's played this season, he's been absolutely fine. There's been no problem. He'll still be hoping the same can happen.

"It's hard when you sign a new centre-back and you know he's going to play for a while because he was that guy once as well. Now it's how many games he gets, but 100% keep Harry. I know we've got a lot of choices there. We've got Lindelof and Jonny Evans as well. We can't complain about it.
"I think as long as Martinez and De Ligt are fit, I think they play anyway. I think that's one position we need to crack down on and not change as much."
